the lost man chronicles
the daily chronicle
look to the sky this evening for me
and take account of what you see,
for a full moon is about to be eclipsed,
and (sigh), as i will not be with thee,
you will surely be missed.
alas, in this my absence it is likely
i will be snoring, snoozing, ignoring
the life i sleep away. however,
i happily convey that i’ll be dreaming
—that i am scheming to have you someday
regale away the tale of this dim night;
and with your spirited brand of fey delight
we will relive all the sweet days gone by.
