the lost man chronicles
07. one with nothing
while en route this morning to our other corporate campus in the boondocks of yonder, a serene wave overcame me. and for a moment i was uncommonly calm.
to my dismay, it did not last too long. for when i began to ponder—the halcyon flew away.
i was left wondering anxiously about an hour in the recent past when, alas, i was selfish and my narrow minded and lascivious actions irked another who was "not in the mood." for she was uncomely brooding, and i, irritatingly, was not.
becoming aware of the futility of this frivolous regret, i let go of her and her vexation, and opened my soul up to allow this euphoric dispensation pour into me again.
and once more, i was one with nothing.
