the lost man chronicles
book two: the art of love

feeding the soul

Intimacy can be had when you understand what is universal. It is not always necessarily lascivious or personal, for there is often a soothing connection made when the best plans are laid aside and we run and ride upon the energy of our immediate senses.

Soothing connections can be made when opportunity presents itself as comprehension or compassion engendered by empathy—that mutual experience that two hereto unknowns have endured separately.

Our inability to rely on such intuition compromises our limited chances at dispersing the inevitable and occasional loneliness more often. Because we are so afraid of connecting we end up neglecting the nourishment of the self, for our soul's health depends on intimacy.

Risk, trust, prosper.
